Mains water supply system
Most caravans for a number of years now have had an operational water system similar to that at home (hot and cold). For you to do this you need to have a water barrel or an Aquaroll outside your caravan (made by F L Hitchman - see my page "Useful Websites" for a link to their home page). Your caravan should be equipped with a boiler that can be heated on gas or electric. You just open the tap and have instant hot or cold water supply.
When we are on a fully serviced pitch we can connect the Aquaroll directly to a tap by means of a food grade hose and a floating valve which saves on refilling, particularly when someone is half way though a shower!
